I attached the study set from the first few papers and the questionaries
from the first few papers as well
HYPOTHESIS: your second IV will be Facebook user’s Gender with 2
levels—Male vs. Female–we want to see the effect of gender and the
nature of social conformity to our participants on their opinions
towards Facebook use’s behaviors, and on the degree to follow other
people. Your first IV will be still priming condition. However, to
reduce the complexity of data and create a stronger manipulation, the
priming condition will be only 2 levels—Supportive vs. Mixed. We retain
the Supportive condition and the Mixed condition because part of the
study looks at consensus–it is good to see what happens when consensus
is unanimous (in Supportive condition) as well as when there is no
consensus (in the Mixed condition). Including the Oppose condition
simply duplicates unanimity, so we drop it.
